Our Client, who are a forward thinking, well established Logistics Company are looking for a Transport Planner to join their team in Feltham.
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Feltham
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off 06.00 – 18.00
Salary: £25,000-£40,000 (DOE)
Responsibilities
- Daily Planning for all airport Vehicles.
- Ensure vehicle compliance – Including servicing, maintenance, repairs .
- Your role will include Liaising with the import and export team regarding airline collections.
- Clear effective communication with customers regarding deliveries.
- Lead the team of drivers throughout the day to ensure timescales are adhered too.
- You will have an awareness of industry compliance and legislation.
- You will ensure that the most cost effective Solution.
- Ensure that the transport is utilised using the most cost effective solutions.
- A knowledge of industry compliance and relevant legislation.
Requirements
- Excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to adapt in a fast paced environment.
- Managers CPC – desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of WTD and driver Hours.
- 2/3 Years Working in a similar role in the UK Transport Industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft/Excel.
