Transport Supervisor
Transport Supervisor – Carlisle – up to £33,000
You will be joining a family-run logistics company that are experts in all they do, are looking for a Transport Supervisor to join their team.
As Transport Supervisor, you will be overseeing the efficient planning of a fleet of vehicles and all compliance.
The Package
Up to £33,000
Monday – Friday
8.30am – 5pm

The Role:
- Transport Supervisor will be managing a small team of Planners
- You will be ensuring the most cost effective route planning of company owned vehicles
- Transport Supervisors responsibility to enforce all H&S policie
- You are expected to ensure full vehicle and driver compliance Profit & Loss of trucks must be effectively managed
- You will liaise and work as part of a network with other sites & managers
- Responsible for the control & management of the driving resource, monitoring team behaviour and performance, dealing with any issues that arise.
- You must ensure that driver adherence to planned start times, authorisation of all OT hours.
The Requirements:
- Experience in a Transport Supervisor role
- Understanding of vehicle profit & loss
- Knowledge of WTD and compliance
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly adaptable and able to work under pressurised situations
