Transport Supervisor – Birmingham – £30,000
A global Logistics provider are actively seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to join their team in Birmingham. The Role:
- Routing company owned vehicles
- You must Plan routes as cost effectively as possible
- Plan routes in line with WTD and Drivers Hours
- Ensure all customers are kept up to date
- All necessary admin must be completed
- You will be working with the Manager to ensure that all vehicles are in compliance with company standards
- Perform and correctly implement General Administration, e.g. costing, agreeing charge rates with contractors, queries in accordance with the companies’ requirements.
The Requirements:
- Experience with a UK based Transport/logistics company
- Transport route planning is experience required
- Excellent geographical knowledge
- Strong communication skills
