Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff to deliver operational excellence
- Manage warehouse objectives in line with business goals, ensuring efficiency and productivity targets are met
- Promote and enforce safe working practices in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines
- Ensure full compliance with aviation security regulations and company policies
- Oversee the handling, storage, and processing of air cargo to meet strict time and quality requirements
- Monitor financial and commercial performance, controlling costs and identifying efficiencies
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and reporting systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and team performance
- Act as a visible, hands-on leader who motivates and supports the team in achieving daily targets
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager within the air cargo or freight forwarding sector is essential
- Strong understanding of aviation security and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of warehouse KPIs, budgeting, and cost control
- Excellent leadership, motivational, and communication skills
- Hands-on managerial style with the ability to lead by example
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
