Location – Stoke-On-Trent

Hours: Monday – Friday 20:00 – 06:00 (Although some flexibility is available)

Salary: Up to £35,000 – £40,000 (DOE)!!

We are currently recruiting for one of the UK’s leading logistics and freight companies that offer both domestic and global logistics and freight forwarding services.

As a warehouse supervisor, you will be overseeing the night shift operation of a warehouse spreading over 150,000 sq. ft. The role includes receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. We are looking for someone with a strong background in warehouse management and a strong knowledge of WMS Systems and RF Scanners. Experience in logistics is an advantage.

Your key responsibilities as a Warehouse Supervisor:

• You must ensure full adherence to all health & safety policies
• You will be coordinating the movement of goods around storage facilities
• As Night Warehouse Supervisor you will manage absence, probation, RTWs, agency controls, and conduct within the team.
• Working hands-on with the team, you will learn what each person does and work with them to develop efficiencies in their roles
• All administration must be accurate and up to date
• All pallets must be moved and stored in line with company procedure
• All pallets must be loaded following strict health and safety procedures

Requirements

• Strong Leadership qualities
• In date counterbalance licence
• Ability to communicate at all levels.
• Work unsupervised and under pressure.
• Flexible with working hours
