We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a highly respected engineering company specialising in precision welding for the nuclear and advanced manufacturing sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Welder to join their skilled team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with MIG and/or TIG experience to work on challenging, high-specification projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out precision welding on mild and stainless steel components

• Working to exacting standards for nuclear and similar fine welding projects

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with quality requirements

• Collaborating with other team members to meet project deadlines

About You

• Proven experience in MIG and/or TIG welding (mild and stainless steel)

• Background in fine, high-standard welding – ideally for nuclear or similar industries

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What’s on Offer

• Hourly rate £16 – £20 depending on experience

• Initial 6-month temporary contract, leading to a permanent position

• Overtime paid at 1.5x Monday to Saturday and 2x Sunday and bank holidays

• 39 hour week

• 8am – 4.30pm Monday – Thursday and 3.30pm finish on a Friday

• 30 minute lunch and 2 x 15 minute breaks
