Mechanical Project Engineer – Building Services
Working in conjunction with a multi-faceted engineering and construction services specialist presently seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer professional to work on projects across London and Cambridge areas.
Our Principal Contractor client have an abundance of capabilities from design and construction through to fit out and maintenance, offering clients a variation of expertise on projects.
The multi-skilled group operate at a turnover of around £70m and take pride in their ability to manage all aspects of client projects through skilled in-house experts and trusted suppliers.
This position would be suited to a Mechanical Project Engineer keen to progress towards Mechanical Project Management level.
The Role –
– Oversee the installation of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, and fire protection systems in buildings
– Select appropriate mechanical equipment, such as boilers, chillers, pumps, and HVAC components
– Monitor and inspect mechanical installations to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
– Manage project schedules, track progress, and report to clients and management
Requirements –
– Relevant Building Services Engineering / Mechanical specific degree, HNC, HND or alternate qualification
– Knowledge of building codes, regulations relevant to mechanical systems
– Capable of managing budgets and schedules
– Familiar with energy modelling and sustainable building practices
Package –
– To £50k per annum
– 25 days holiday annually, excluding bank holidays
– Car allowance or company vehicle
– Bonus up to 5% based on individual performance
