Hours: Rota – Will include some weekend work.

Salary: £31,000

Working for a family-owned Storage, Warehousing and Distribution facility in Evesham that was been going since 1987 with 120 employees.

Responsibilities – Transport Coordinator

The Transport Co-ordinator is responsible for assisting the Transport Planning Team manage drivers with collections and deliveries, speaking to drivers with regards to what they are working, understanding WTD and driver hours, speaking to customers with regards to collections and delivery times ensuring we meet our allocated booking slots. Inputting of customer orders and order stock distribution management with the QC Team. Manging driver compliance.

Effectively deal with telephone and email requests from customers and colleagues, ensuring a

high level of service is given.

Assisting the transport team by monitoring and communicating with drivers and speaking with

depots.

Complete daily driver compliance logs.

Complete trailer temperature checks for BRC

Inputting orders for onwards distribution.

Assisting the Stocks team with stock orders

Checking POD’s at the weekend

Printing labels for the warehouse stock team

Completing daily customer orders on the bespoke in-house system, a high degree of numeracy

is required.

Tracking vehicles and drivers, ensuring all delivery times are met.

Working as part of the general Transport Team.

Checking POD’s for discrepancies.

General admin duties

Requirements – Transport Coordinator

IT literate, including knowledge of Microsoft package is required.

Office Admin experience is essential.

Knowledge of driver’s hours and WTD

Experience of working in a logistics or transport office environment.
