Location: Portsmouth

Hours: Monday – Friday / 0900 – 1730

Salary: £28,000

About us

WR Logistics are recruiting for one of our clients based in Hilsea, Portsmouth that specialise in Freight Forwarding – Seeking a Credit Controller to support the finance team.

Job Responsibilities – Credit Controller – Part Time

  • Checking customers credit and approving
  • Ensuring customers pay on time
  • Escalating proceedings if clients do not pay
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Implementing changes in the company’s credit control system
  • Taking payment over the phone by card
  • Dealing with customer queries and shipping documents
  • Payments/Receipts recording and allocating
  • Daily import of sales invoices to accounting system
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Filing
  • Scanning
  • Any ad hoc account duties

Requirements

  • Previous experience of use of Sage 50 and Sage 200
  • AAT Qualification (not essential but highly beneficial)
