A leading global logistics service provider are actively seeking a National Customs Manager to join their award winning team in Folkestone. Customs Manager Role:
- Responsible for working closely with external customers and clients, senior management and freight forwarding departments
- Being the ‘go to’ expert for everything Customs related and being the primary contact with HMRC authorities.
- To manage all UK customs duty and VAT processes for the UK business whilst ensuring they comply with the correct documentation, customs regulations and procedures.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in a similar role : UK Customs Manager, Senior Customs Manager, Regional Customs Manager, Country Customs Manager
- Experience of IPR, End Use, Home Use, Bonded Goods & Carnet regimes
- Proven commercial background
- Strong IT Skills – Excel, PowerPoint & Word
- Customs Tariff & Duty expert
- Customs compliance
- Strong Freight Forwarding background #customs
