Export Operator – Multimodal

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Export Operator with expertise in multi-modal freight forwarding to join our dynamic team in Southampton. As an integral part of our logistics operations, the Export Operator will be responsible for managing export operations from start to finish, utilising air freight, road freight, and sea freight forwarding methods. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of export operations, including booking, documentation, and customs clearance.
• Liaise with carriers, agents, and customers to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods via air freight, road freight, and sea freight
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipment records, including tracking and reporting on the status of export shipments.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies to facilitate smooth and legally compliant export operations.
• Proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to address any issues and provide exceptional customer service throughout the export process.

Essential experience:

• Proven experience in export operations with a strong understanding of multi-modal transportation logistics.
• Knowledge of air freight, road freight, and freight forwarding processes and documentation requirements.
• Familiarity with customs regulations and export compliance procedures.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and a ‘client first’ mindset.
