Our client is a leading Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contractor delivering complex projects across the Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Commercial, Industrial and Mission Critical sectors.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team in Dublin. Reporting directly to the Mechanical Operations Director, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of mechanical packages from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of Mechanical Building Services projects from pre-construction through to testing, commissioning and client handover.
- Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, design teams, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers throughout project delivery.
- Review and coordinate mechanical designs, technical submissions, drawings and specifications.
- Manage procurement schedules, material deliveries and subcontractor performance to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Monitor project costs, commercial performance and financial reporting in collaboration with commercial teams.
- Attend regular site visits and project meetings to oversee quality, programme and health & safety compliance.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with project specifications, building regulations and company procedures.
- Drive programme performance and proactively identify and resolve project risks and technical challenges.
- Support testing, commissioning and project close-out activities to ensure successful project completion.
- Maintain excellent stakeholder relationships and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering Mechanical, Building Services or M&E projects within a contracting environment.
- Proven experience managing commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, data centre or mission critical projects.
- Strong understanding of Mechanical Building Services, HVAC, Pipework, Public Health and MEP Coordination.
- Excellent technical knowledge with the ability to review drawings, specifications and design documentation.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets and programme delivery.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Highly organised with a proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery.
