Accounts Assistant
Accounts Assistant – Erith – Up to £28,000
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to join our client, who are a freight forwarder based in Erith. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dealing with accounts ideally within the freight forwarding industry.
The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting. They will work closely with the finance team to ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities:
– Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and expenses
– Assist with month-end financial reports
– Prepare and maintain financial records and documents
– Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy and compliance
– Assist with other accounting tasks as needed
Requirements:
– 2+ years of experience in dealing in accounts, preferably in the freight forwarding industry
– Proficiency in MS Excel
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
