The Opportunity
A well-established and growing freight forwarding business is looking to recruit an experienced Air & Ocean Freight Operator to join their team in Bradford.
This is a great opportunity for someone with solid operational experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a supportive, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day air and ocean freight shipments (import & export)
- Liaise with customers, overseas agents, and shipping lines
- Prepare and process shipping documentation
- Provide quotations and follow up with clients
- Raise and process invoices accurately
- Ensure high levels of customer service and communication throughout the shipment lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in air and/or ocean freight forwarding
- Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner
- Good level of education
- Competent IT skills and ability to learn new systems
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
