AOG Export Clerk (Nights) – Feltham – Up to £36,000

Our client, are seeking a dedicated and proactive AOG/Air Export Clerk to manage critical, time-sensitive airfreight shipments in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role requires an ambitious, detail-oriented professional committed to delivering exceptional service and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Job type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday – 20:00PM to 04:00AM

Salary: Up to £36,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage high-priority, urgent airfreight shipments with precision and speed.
• Proactively identify and resolve service disruptions, communicating effectively with customers and offering timely alternatives.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers, including airlines and ground transportation companies.
• Conduct vendor performance evaluations and drive continuous improvement through corrective action plans.
• Ensure full adherence to internal operational standards, processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze and optimize workflows for improved departmental efficiency.
• Prepare and process export documentation and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
• Oversee the receipt and handling of outbound freight to ensure timely departures.
• Track and monitor shipments throughout the logistics chain, providing real-time updates to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Air Export operations is essential.
• Experience handling AOG and CLS shipments is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail and multitasking capacity.
• Sound knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proficient in standard computer applications (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word).
• Solid market and product knowledge within the airfreight sector.
