Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing team with the focus of developing business for its European road freight services.
The company have offices across the UK and globally with over and are showing continued growth.
The ideal candidate will be committed and motivated to driving sales with a background in road freight within a freight forwarding company with the ability to bring on new accounts and business.

Main Duties:
- To develop new business and maintain existing client relationships.
- Drive to achieve sales targets.
- Use your logistics knowledge to generate and follow up sales leads.
- Visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business.
- Promote the business to new and existing clients to help grow the Road Freight sector.
- Work with sale team members and managers to promote specific markets and generate business.
- Maintaining knowledge and reporting change of market place trends and competition activity when needed.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated success in sales within freight / logistics industry.
- Experience in road, air or sea freight sales.
- Business development manager experience.
- Accounts management experience.
- Full current UK driving license.
- Interpersonal skills
- Results driven
- Exceptional people / communication skills
