Freight Operator

Location: Stamford
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 8:30am-5:30pm.

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 (DOE)

My client is looking to expand their Freight Forwarding division and are looking for an experienced Freight Operator or Customs Coordinator to join their team. The right candidate will have experience in Air, Road or Sea Freight Forwarding Operations. Experience in Import and Export management and operations will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working within a dynamic team to deliver freight forwarding expertise for customers across the globe.
• Support the operations team and drive improvements.
• Development of new and existing business.
• Arranging movement of freight from origin to final destination, both international and national.
• Liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers.

Requirements:

• Air, Road or Sea Freight Forwarding operational experience.
• Having Deep-Sea operations knowledge would be a bonus.
• Import and export customs knowledge is desirable.
• Experience working for a freight forwarding company.
• Excellent customer service.
• Good verbal and written communication.
