Internal Sales – Sales Executive – Electronics
An opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a sales role, develop a range of commercial skills and work with some of the largest names in electronics. An opportunity has arisen to join a supplier of electronic components and custom solutions involving displays, connectors, printers, fans, ESD protection and more from world class manufacturers including Powertip, Fujitsu, Amphenol, Panasonic, Ebm Papst, SCS and Protek.
You’ll need to have experience or an interest in sales, but you may have a background in engineering, customer service, purchasing or similar.
Previous experience may have an as an internal sales engineer, account manager, sales manager, sales executive or similar. This might be of interest to a field-based salesperson looking to reduce travel.
Package
- Up to £40,000 basic salary
- Company Bonus
- Pension
- 23 days holiday
- Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm
The Role
- New Business Development – Generating new customer prospects through phone, email, or other media
- Managing new prospects through sales cycle
- Manage and develop existing established accounts
- Respond to inbound sales calls
- Prepare quotations
- Liaise and support external sales team
You
- Knowledge of electronics that might include displays, connectors, printers, fans, ESD protection or similar
- Sales experience on an interest in a sales role
- Technical qualification or experience in engineering role is preferred
- Presentable customer manner
