Hire Coordinator

Havant, Hampshire | £25,000 – £30,000 DOE

Are you an organised, customer-focused coordinator who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a Hire Coordinator to join a growing engineering business where no two days are the same.

You’ll be at the heart of the Service team, managing equipment hire from initial enquiry through to delivery, installation, collection and invoicing. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, juggling multiple priorities and keeping operations running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing the full hire process from enquiry through to off-hire and collection.
• Acting as the main point of contact for customers throughout the hire period.
• Producing quotations, hire contracts and customer documentation.
• Coordinating deliveries, collections, servicing and maintenance of hire equipment.
• Liaising with engineers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitoring fleet availability, utilisation and equipment records.
• Supporting invoicing, purchase orders and general service administration.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in a hire desk, service coordination, account management or busy administration role.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Confident communicator with great attention to detail.
• A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to take ownership.
