Internal Sales Executive – Logistics

Location: Halesowen
Salary: Up to £28,000 + Bonus + Pension
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm

We’re looking for an ambitious Internal Sales Executive to join a well-established freight forwarding business with a strong track record of success. This role offers excellent career progression, with a clear path into a field-based Business Development role for the right person.

The Role

As an Internal Sales Executive, you’ll play a key role in strengthening client relationships and uncovering new opportunities. You’ll be working with an established customer base across multiple industries, with responsibilities including:

  • Developing and managing client relationships
  • Preparing and negotiating Air, Road, and Sea freight quotations
  • Handling tenders and supporting client KPIs
  • Attending client and supplier meetings (face-to-face and virtual)
  • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver efficient, tailored logistics solutions

This position is the ideal springboard to progress into a full external sales/business development role, where you’ll have the chance to drive growth and build your own client base.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience handling quotations and tenders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • A positive, engaging personality with a proactive, “can-do” approach
