The Role

As an Ocean Export Operator, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end export shipments, ensuring customers receive a seamless, efficient service from booking through to final delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing full load (FCL) export shipments from start to finish
• Liaising with customers, shipping lines, overseas agents and hauliers
• Preparing and checking export documentation
• Coordinating bookings and ensuring all milestones are met
• Providing exceptional customer service and proactive shipment updates
• Ensuring compliance with customs and international shipping regulations
• Resolving operational issues quickly and professionally

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience managing Ocean export shipments within freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of export documentation and shipping processes
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines
• A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
• Experience using freight forwarding systems (preferred)
