An established and growing freight forwarder is seeking an experienced Ocean General Manager to lead and develop its ocean freight operations. This role requires a results-driven leader with a background in time-sensitive freight forwarding, capable of driving operational efficiency, commercial success, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the ocean freight team, ensuring efficient and smooth operations.
• Ensure shipments are delivered on time and within budget, meeting customer expectations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, carriers, and key clients.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service quality and cost efficiency.
• Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and drive profitability.
• Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Key Requirements

• Proven leadership experience within ocean freight forwarding.
• Background in fast-paced or time-sensitive freight operations.
• Strong ability to manage carrier relationships and negotiate competitive rates.
