Planning Manager

Planning Manager required by leading transport company!

A leading haulage business based in Derby are looking for an experienced route planning manager to join the team.

You will be leading a team of Transport Planners to efficiently route all company trucks.

Manager CPC qualification would be beneficial.

General Haulage & Contract Logistics experience is essential.

The Package:
£38,000 – £43,000

The Role:
Planning Manager will be overseeing a team of Transport Planners
You will be ensuring efficient and effective route plans are in place
Planning Manager is expected to manage drivers in line with WTD
It is required that you source and route loads when needed
You must lead by example and keep admin up to date

The Requirements:
General Haulage & Contract Logistics
Manager CPC would be beneficial
Excellent person management skills
Strong geographical knowledge
