Pre-Sales Support Engineer – Software Saas
Our client is a specialist software solutions company supplying process engineering sectors such and oil & gas, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, manufacturing. Their software and data acquisition solutions provide real-time insight to operate facilities efficiently, and safely.
They are now seeking a Pre-Sales Support Engineer with strong software knowledge and confident communication skills.
The role is instrumental in supporting the global sales team in providing essential guidance to customers globally throughout the sales cycle. Leveraging your technical expertise, process industry knowledge, and effective communication skills, you will employ a customer-centric approach to comprehensively understand clients’ business drivers and requirements.
The role
- A mix of hybrid working and office-based
- Support customers and sales teams globally
- You will become a software product expert enabling you to recommend optimal solutions and showcase the value of the products
- Deliver presentations and demonstrations
- Prepare quotations
- Provide product information in response to customer inquiries, matching customer requirements to proposed solutions
- Create proposals for the development and deployment of customer-specific software solutions
Requirements
A technically qualified engineer, likely to be degree-qualified in Software-related subjects or an Engineering discipline such as automation.
Work experience within pre-sales, customer support, customer success, project management, technical support or a recent graduate.
Willing & able to work from Cowes, Isle of Wight regularly
Package
- 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Salary of around £45K, depending on experience.
