Product Manager
Product Manager – Pressure & Flow
The primary role of the Product Manager is to represent and promote the products that they are responsible for, both within OEM and externally to the market.
My client are a UK leading provider of automation solutions, you will be working within the pressure & flow team.
The Role
- Act as a central point of contact for salesmen regarding product issues.
- Be a point of contact at OEM for the supplier.
- To promote the relevant products both internally to salesmen and externally to the market.
- To answer technical queries for customers.
- Request and negotiate special prices for projects from suppliers.
- Calculate special net prices for customers as required.
- Produce copy for brochures, house magazine, adverts, press releases etc. in conjunction with the Marketing team.
- Manage and update PIM web site content in conjunction with the Marketing team.
- Identify new market areas and investigate to identify potential new customers.
- In conjunction with purchasing agree which products are to be considered stock items
- Monitor supplier delivery performance and target >90%. Discuss in supplier review meetings and initiate improvement plans if required.
- Visit customers with Sales Engineers to support projects as required.
Requirements
- Knowledge of automation products/solutions, pressure & flow would be preferable
- Degree or HNC in automation
- Keep up to date with market trends

- Salary to £45,000 + commission + bonus
