Service Engineer – UK & International Travel
My client is a highly regarded global manufacturer of packaging machinery solutions that has seen continuous success within its specialist market, supplying the FMCG sectors.
My client is seeking an electrically biased Service Engineer who has experience of PLC’s (Allen Bradley & Siemens ideally), who has experience maintaining and installing packaging machinery, food processing machinery, automation equipment, labelling machinery or similar. Product training will be provided to engineers with suitable previous experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated service engineer / maintenance engineer / installation engineer with experience working on automated manufacturing equipment with a keen interest in International travel.
This role varies between factory-based engineering responsibilities in Lincolnshire, to worldwide installations, maintenance, and servicing on a range of packaging lines.
The Package:
- Basic salary: £38,000-£40,000
- O.T.E up to £80,000
- Company vehicle, mobile phone & laptop
- Overtime offered at an increased rate (1.5X salary Monday – Saturday & 2x salary Sunday)
- Pension
The Role:
- Install, maintain, and service manufacturing machinery
- Working both mechanically and electrically, with manufacturer training given
- You will gain manufacturer training
- Covering the UK and overseas, staying away from a few nights to a few weeks at a time
Requirements:
- Packaging machinery / capital equipment / automated manufacturing machinery experience e.g. conveyors, material handling, food processing or similar
- PLC experience, ideally with experience of Allen Bradley and / or Siemens
- Flexible and able to work overseas occasionally
- Apprenticeship / Electrical qualifications
