Service Engineer
Service Engineer – South UK (Up to M4 corridor) – Checkweighers – Circa £40,000
Service Engineer required to join a global manufacturer of checkweighers, x-ray systems and inspection machinery.
The role is covering the South of the UK, below the M4 corridor, with my clients key customers based around the Portsmouth / Southampton areas, however, there may be requirements to travel to other parts of the UK if needed.
The ideal candidate will have checkweigher, multi head weigher and/or product inspection experience, with experience of both electrical and mechanical engineering.
The Package:
Salary – £35,000 – £40,000
Overtime Paid after 9 Hours (45 Hour Week)

Holidays – first year 25 increasing to 28 thereafter
The Role:
- Install, commission and repair.
- Provide product training.
- Calibrate the complete range of machinery supplied.
- Engineers take part in an out of hours on call rota system (Technical Phone Support Only) Typically one week in 5.
Requirements:
- Must have both mechanical and electrical skills.
- Must have previous experience servicing checkweighers, multi-head weighers or similar inspection equipment.
- Must have a full, clean driving license.
