Technical Sales Engineer

Location: South UK (Field-Based)
Salary: £30,000 + Company Car + Bonus (OTE £40,000)

Are you an engineer or technical sales professional looking to build a career in capital equipment sales?

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of packaging machinery, supplying bespoke automated equipment to customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer to develop new business and support existing customers throughout the South of the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone in their second engineering or sales role who wants to move into technical capital equipment sales. Previous packaging machinery experience is not essential – full product training will be provided.

The Role

• Develop new business opportunities across the South of the UK.

• Manage and grow existing customer accounts.

• Conduct customer site visits to understand applications and recommend suitable machinery.

• Prepare quotations and technical proposals.

• Work closely with the internal engineering and project teams to deliver customer solutions.

• Attend exhibitions and customer demonstrations.

Requirements

• Background in engineering or technical sales.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Commercially minded with an interest in business development.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Eager to learn and develop within capital equipment sales.

• Basic salary of £30,000
