Trainee Pump Engineer, London – DRIVING LICENCE NEEDED
My client is a manufacturer of industrial and commercial fresh water pump systems. They are looking for someone with ideally with level 2 electrical installations to train in to the role of Pump Engineer. Shadowing a Senior Pump Engineer, this is a fantastic opportunity for a junior electrician to grow their career, whilst learning new skills with a market leader.
This role is suitable for a junior electrician, electrical improver or someone who has recently graduated college or an apprenticeship with an electrical background. Training can take 6 to 18 months depending on your aptitude. Salary for a fully trained service engineer is around £45,000
Requirements:
Level 2 electrical installation preferred
Diploma, degree or apprenticeship in a mechanical engineering field will be considered
Excellent communication skills
Package:
£20,000 to £22,000 plus door to door, realistic earning £30,000
Realistic earning once trained, £45,000
37.5 hour contract
1.5 x salary overtime
2 x salary bank holidays
1 in 6 on call (usually phone based)
28 days holiday
