Transport Planner
Join an award-winning multinational transport and logistics company as a Transport Planner based in Reading.
Total Package: £37,000 – including £7,000 car allowance, bonus, and an excellent employee benefits package.
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days)
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for planning and optimising UK-wide general haulage routes for company vehicles, ensuring legal compliance with Driver Hours and WTD regulations, delivering outstanding customer service, and supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the transport function.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Transport Planning experience within UK general haulage
- Strong route planning and geographical knowledge
- Good understanding of Driver Hours and Working Time Directive
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
