Are you an experienced Transport Planner with strong Paragon experience looking for your next challenge in a busy, high-performing transport operation?

We’re recruiting for a fast-paced distribution business in Slough seeking a confident and organised Transport Planner to join a high-volume transport team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys solving operational challenges, and has experience managing complex route planning within demanding logistics environments.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring efficient fleet utilisation, cost-effective route planning, and exceptional service delivery across a large-scale operation.

The Role

• Plan and optimise routes using Paragon routing software
• Manage daily transport planning for a high-volume fleet operation
• Maximise vehicle utilisation while maintaining service levels
• Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouses, and operational teams
• Monitor route performance, KPIs, and planning efficiencies
• React quickly to operational changes and resolve planning issues proactively
• Support continuous improvement across transport operations
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and operational procedures

About You

• Proven experience as a Transport Planner within a busy logistics or distribution environment
• Strong working knowledge of Paragon is essential
• Experience planning within high-volume, fast-paced operations
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Transport compliance knowledge beneficial
