Transport Planner – Pallet Network – £28,000
Are you an experienced Transport Planner, seeking an engaging new position? This Opportunity might be ideal for you. Our client, a well-established 3PL Logistics provider are Looking to expand their team.
Location: Skelmersdale
Salary: £28,000
Work Hours: Monday to Friday 6 – 3
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Planning and coordinating a fleet of vehicles, across multiple locations.
- Manage any queries via telephone and email.
- Ensure all pallet operations, practices and procedures are adhered too in line with company standards.
- Management of records relating to vehicles and drivers
- Liaise with the transport team to ensure high standards & performance are maintained at all times.
- Organise and coordinate Groupage deliveries to ensure maximum revenue.
- An adherence to all WTD ensuring implementation at all times.
- Maintaining and updating spreadsheets/databases to ensure accurate KPIs.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated and proven experience Planning Pallet Network deliveries & Collections.
- Experienced with Planning within the pallet network/Transport sector.
- Experience with Tachographs and WTD
- Experience with adherence to H&S policies
- Full UK Driving Licence
- IOSH Managing Safety Level 3
