An established and rapidly growing UK logistics business is seeking an experienced Transport Manager to lead and develop its transport operation.

Operating across key UK ports and distribution networks, the company has built a strong reputation for reliability, customer service, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day transport operation, ensuring full compliance with Operator Licence requirements.
• Lead, support, and develop a team of drivers and transport planners.
• Drive operational efficiency, fleet utilisation, and service performance.
• Monitor compliance, driver hours, vehicle maintenance, and safety standards.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Support the continued growth and development of the transport division.

Requirements

• CPC Holder (National or International).
• Proven experience in a Transport Manager or senior transport operations role.
• Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience within container haulage, port operations, or general haulage would be advantageous.

Package Includes:

• £65,000 DOE
