Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 per year

Location: Ashton, Wigan

Shift Pattern: Monday- Tuesday Permanent, Full-Time 10 -7

Your Role:

As a Transport Planner, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that our customer deliveries run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Scheduling and planning day-to-day deliveries to meet customer needs
• Building and nurturing strong relationships with both new and existing customers
• Ensuring full compliance with transport legislation
• Monitoring fleet maintenance and keeping drivers in the loop
• Inputting KPIs, resolving delivery issues, and preparing essential paperwork

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of experiencein a Transport Planner role
• A commercial mindset-someone who can identify cost savings and find opportunities for growth
• Strong administrative skills, with excellent IT proficiency
• High attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
• Knowledge of WTD, Drivers Hours, Tachograph, and Transport Legislation
• The ability to work independently as well as within a team to get things done
