Technical Sales Specialist – Agriculture

We are working with a growing agricultural solutions business looking to recruit a Technical Sales Specialist to cover Cheshire and Lancashire.

This is a field-based role focused on developing relationships with farmers and agricultural distributors, growing existing accounts and generating new business across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business across Cheshire and Lancashire

• Manage and grow existing customer accounts

• Build strong relationships with farmers and distributors

• Provide technical advice around crop nutrition, fertilisers, soil conditioning and animal nutrition

• Identify customer challenges and recommend suitable solutions

• Demonstrate product value, performance and ROI

• Manage sales pipeline and customer activity through CRM

• Maintain a strong on-farm presence across the territory

Requirements

• Agricultural sales, agronomy or relevant farming experience

• Strong understanding of UK agriculture and farming practices

• Commercially driven with strong relationship-building skills

• Comfortable managing your own territory independently

• Agricultural qualification or relevant industry experience

• FACTS qualified or willing to work towards the qualification

• Full UK driving licence

• Based within or close to Cheshire or Lancashire

Package

• £35,000 – £40,000 basic salary DOE
