We’re recruiting a Quality Inspector for a full-time, on-site role in Droitwich Spa. You’ll conduct detailed inspections, document results, and report non-conformance’s.
- Salary £35K – £40K, 25 days holiday, company benefits
- Hours Monday – Friday, 38 hours, flexible working hours
The Role
- Inspect incoming materials, work in progress and finished products against engineering drawings and standards.
- Use precision measuring equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs and FARO equipment, to check components against specifications.
- Record inspection results, document non-conformances and communicate findings to the relevant teams.
- Work with production and quality colleagues to investigate issues, support root cause analysis and improve inspection procedures.
- Support compliance with relevant standards, including ISO 9001, and assist with internal and external audits.
- Recommend improvements to product quality and processes, and follow health and safety procedures in the inspection area.
Requirements
- 4+ years in quality assurance within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- The ability to interpret dimensional engineering drawings, including GD&T, and use precision inspection equipment.
- A strong understanding of ISO 9001
- Knowledge of quality practices such as root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action (CAPA) and calibration.
- Clear written and verbal communication, strong documentation and data analysis skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, HVAC systems or controls systems would be advantageous.
