Location: Feltham

Salary: Up to £38,000 + 10% shift allowance

Hours: 4 On, 4 Off Days | 7:00am-7:00pm

Are you an experienced Air Freight Operator with a strong background across both import and export operations?

We’re currently working with a leading global logistics business to recruit an experienced Air Freight Operator to join their established team based in Feltham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight professional looking for a role offering a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, while working within a well-established and highly respected organisation in the international logistics sector.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing both air import and export shipments, ensuring freight is handled efficiently and customers receive a consistently high level of service.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing air freight import and export shipments from start to finish.
• Coordinating bookings, collections and deliveries.
• Preparing and checking import and export documentation.
• Liaising with airlines, customers, overseas offices, agents and transport providers.
• Monitoring shipments and providing customers with regular updates.
• Ensuring all shipments comply with relevant customs and regulatory requirements.
• Handling operational queries and resolving any issues that arise.
• Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate shipment records.
• Working closely with colleagues across the wider operations team to ensure smooth movement of freight.

About You

We’re looking for someone with previous experience within air freight operations, ideally with exposure to both imports and exports.

You’ll be organised, proactive and confident dealing with customers, airlines and overseas partners. The ability to manage multiple shipments, prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure is essential.

Experience within an international freight forwarding environment is highly desirable.
