We are recruiting an experienced Air and Ocean Export Manager for a leading global freight forwarder. This position will lead the export department, develop the operational team and drive service, compliance, profitability and continued growth.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop the air and ocean export team
Oversee shipments from booking through final delivery
Monitor productivity, service levels, billing and profitability
Maintain relationships with customers, carriers and overseas offices
Ensure compliance with export regulations and operational procedures
Support pricing, customer retention and new-business implementation
Manage departmental budgets, KPIs and business plans
Requirements
Strong air and ocean export freight-forwarding experience
Previous operational management or supervisory experience
Knowledge of AES filings, export documentation and carrier processes
Commercially aware with experience managing departmental performance
Strong leadership, negotiation and customer-management skills
IATA, FIATA or Dangerous Goods certification is preferred
Package
$85,000 base salary
