Salary: $85,000 + Benefits
We are seeking an experienced Air & Ocean Coordinator to join our growing operations team in New Jersey. This role is responsible for managing international import and export shipments across air and ocean freight, ensuring smooth end-to-end transportation and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate international air and ocean import/export shipments
- Liaise with carriers, overseas offices, customers, and customs brokers
- Prepare and review shipping documentation
- Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations
- Provide accurate shipment updates and maintain operational records
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in air and ocean freight forwarding
- Strong understanding of international shipping processes and documentation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using freight forwarding systems is preferred
