Transport Manager
Location: Bury St Edmonds
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000pa (DOE)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (8:30am – 5:30pm)

Key Responsibilities:
- To schedule, plan and manage day-to-day customer deliveries.
- Liaise with new and existing customers, helping in increasing profits.
- Meet transport legislation commitments.
- P&L responsibilities across operations, depot and office.
- Monitor fleet maintenance requirements and liaise with and manage drivers.
- Daily input of KPI’s, delivery and collection issues, preparing paperwork.
- Excellent UK geographical knowledge.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Transport Management.
- Understanding of General Haulage, the Pallet Network, Traffic Operations and Logistics.
- Transport Management CPC is essential.
- Strong Business/Commercial Acumen.
- High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Knowledge of Drivers Hours, Tachographs and Transport legislation.
- Ability to thrive in a busy work environment.
