Join a growing international freight forwarding business – Internal Sales Executive
£28K – £35K – 33 days holiday including bank holidays – Mon to Fri business hours – 1 day hybrid
Are you an experienced freight forwarding sales professional who enjoys building customer relationships, negotiating rates and winning new business?
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing competitive freight quotations, bids and tenders across Air, Sea and Road
- Generating accurate quotes using CargoWise
- Negotiating rates with airlines, shipping lines and overseas partners
- Following up quotations and converting opportunities into new business
- Building strong relationships with UK customers and international agents
- Handling customer and pricing enquiries
- Passing secured shipments smoothly to the Operations team
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years’ freight forwarding sales experience
Strong knowledge of the freight forwarding industry
- Excellent customer service, negotiation and communication skills
- Experience pricing Air, Sea and Road freight
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
