Customs Clearance Coordinator

Position: Customs Clearance Administrator
Location: Wakefield
Industry: International Freight Forwarding
Hours: Mon – Fri – 8:30am – 17:30pm
Salary:£28,000 – £30,000 DOE

We are now recruiting for a customs clearance coordinator to join our dynamic, friendly customs department.

Knowledge of Customs Declarations is important for this role and the ideal candidate would have worked for a freight forwarding company.

The role:
To complete customs clearances for import & export freight consignments
Data Entry
Import and Export Customs Clearance (multi modal)
Customer relationship building
Building and maintaining client and agent network
Liaising with our network of customers, hauliers and partners
Essential Requirements:
Good knowledge of customs clearance procedures
Ability to work under pressure
2-5 years’ experience in freight or logistics
Good Communication Skills
