Customs Coordinator – Nights – Perishable Goods
Are you an experienced Customs Coordinator, seeking an engaging new position? This Opportunity might be ideal for you. Our client, a well-established freight forwarder is looking to expand their customs team. Experience with Perishable goods would be highly desirable but not essential.
Location: slough
Salary: £30,000-£45,000 (DOE)
Work Hours: 4 on 4 Off Nights (12 Hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities:
- You will check the data provided by customers against required source and advise on potential errors.
- You will be creating job files, entering data accurately into customs software.
- Using customs software to create import export declarations (such as CDS)
- Track and monitor declaration status
- Effectively and efficiently dealing with queries and concerns. Including liaising with all stakeholders in the process
- Provide support and guidance on all the latest customs procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working for a UK based Freight Forwarder or Customs Broker.
- Customs qualifications and previous experience working with IPAFFS/PEACH, customs entries, CDS.
- Proficiency using all office software Descartes,Sequoia/ASM.
- Experience as a Customs Coordinator or equivalent.
- HMRC Compliance Knowledge is desirable
