We are recruiting a Customs Operations Supervisor for a leading global freight forwarder. The role will oversee customs activity for a major customer, ensuring compliance, strong commercial performance and consistently high service levels.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily customs operations for a key customer account
- Manage SLAs, contracts and customs compliance requirements
- Monitor shipment volumes, revenue, costs and profitability
- Produce monthly customs and operational performance reports
- Develop relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Identify process improvements and additional commercial opportunities
- Support the continued development of the operational team
Requirements
- Strong customs operations and compliance experience
- Knowledge of UK customs procedures and multimodal freight
- Experience managing customer accounts, SLAs and performance reporting
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder-management abilities
