Electrical Installation Engineer
Location: Dinnington, South Yorkshire, with site travel
Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
We’re working with an established power generation specialist seeking an Electrical Installation Engineer to join its projects team.
The role focuses on wiring, installing and upgrading electrical systems for gas and diesel generators. Work is predominantly at customer sites, with occasional workshop panel builds.
Key Responsibilities
Build and wire generator control panels and power sections.
Install and retrofit generator control systems and engine components.
Complete field wiring, cable containment and power cable terminations.
Install lighting and small power systems within generator containers.
Requirements
Electrical background and ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
High standards of workmanship and strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work away from home and flexibility with working hours.
Full UK driving licence.
Training and development opportunities are available, including the potential to progress into gas and diesel generator commissioning.
