Position: Freight Operations Administrator

Location: Witham, Essex

Salary: up to £28,000

Hours: Mon – Friday 9am-17:30pm

Due to continued growth plans for 2024 and beyond we are now hiring a Freight Operations Administrator to join our dynamic team in Witham, Essex.

Freight Operations Administrator Position:

We now have a vacancy for an operational administrator with freight forwarding or logistics experience to join a team handling groupage trailers to various European destinations.

Main Duties

• Help to plan Export Groupage trailers.
• Responsible for monthly P&L on designated service(s).
• Develop key service relationships with customers and overseas agents to provide an efficient and effective service.
• Choosing the most effective and profitable means of transportation when dealing with several agents in the same country
• Quotations for customers, negotiating the best possible rate for the company and ensuring that exporting trailers is maximised.
• Ensuring appropriate transportation is used for goods to be transported
• To ensure good internal communication between key departments, customer handling, Transport and warehouse.
• Provide completed manifest to warehouse
• Complying with all Exportation Documentation
• Ensuring good Geographic knowledge of the country you are servicing.
• Resolving and managing queries and complaints courteously and efficiently
• Ensuring site and customer objectives are achieved
• Gain a full understanding of our ISO/AEO systems
