Freight Pricing Coordinator
Freight Pricing Coordinator – Fleet – Up to £30,000
Our client are seeking an Airfreight Pricing Coordinator to join their growing team in Fleet, UK.
As Airfreight Pricing Coordinator, you will be tasked in collaborating with BDM’s to find the best solutions and options to secure business.
Job type: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday (08:00-16:30 or 09:00-17:30)
Salary: Up to £30,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicating with airlines to secure the best rates and attending airline meetings.
- Liaising with overseas agents to arrange destination charges in various countries.
- Handling import and export quotes.
- Using courier systems to find and compare the best pricing options.
- Providing multiple pricing solutions to Business Development Managers (BDMs).
- Tracking quotes and bookings using Excel.
- Data entry and ensuring all information is up to date.
Required:
- Background in freight forwarding with a UK-based freight forwarder
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience n handling pricing and negotiation with key partners is preferred.
- Airfreight knowledge is preferred, but not essential.
