Salary: Up to £27,000
Hours: Monday – Friday (Full-time)

The Opportunity

We’re working with a well-established and respected freight forwarder based in Manchester, offering an exciting opportunity for a Junior Freight Forwarder to join their growing team.

This is an ideal role for someone looking to build a long-term career in freight forwarding, with full training provided in air freight operations. You’ll be supported by an experienced team and given the opportunity to develop your knowledge across international logistics.

The Role

As a Junior Freight Forwarder, you’ll support the day-to-day coordination of air freight shipments while learning the full end-to-end forwarding process.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with air freight bookings and shipment coordination
• Liaising with airlines, agents, and customers
• Supporting with shipping documentation and customs processes
• Tracking shipments and providing updates to clients
• Learning to cost jobs and raise invoices
• Supporting the wider operations team as required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or a related sector, OR a relevant graduate
• Strong interest in building a career within freight forwarding
• Good communication and organisational skills
• High attention to detail
• A proactive and willing-to-learn attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
