Lift Service & Call-Out Engineer

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE

The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Lift Service & Call-Out Engineer to join a growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer looking to work with a well-established company that values technical expertise, customer service, and employee development.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, servicing, fault finding, repairs, and emergency call-outs across a varied portfolio of lift equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on a range of lift systems.
• Diagnose faults and undertake repairs to ensure equipment is returned to service safely and efficiently.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and customer call-outs.
• Complete all service documentation accurately and on time.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current safety regulations and company procedures.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery.
• Participate in a 1-in-5 call-out rota.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) is essential.
• Proven experience servicing and fault-finding on passenger, goods, and platform lifts.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Good understanding of current lift industry regulations and standards.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
