Maintenance Plumber

Due to continued growth, my client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join their Maintenance Division working across Dublin and surrounding commercial and industrial sites.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled plumbing and heating professional with strong experience in planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and commercial building services systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing and heating systems in line with design specifications and regulations.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on plumbing, heating, and mechanical systems.
• Service and maintain commercial plant equipment including pumps, expansion vessels, pressurisation units, calorifiers, and associated pipework systems.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance (PPM) on water and heating systems.
• Repair leaks, blockages, and defects across water supply, drainage, and heating systems.
• Install and maintain hot and cold-water services in commercial and industrial environments.
• Ensure all works are completed in compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and job reports.
• Respond to breakdowns and service requests as part of a reactive maintenance team.
• Liaise with supervisors, site managers, and contractors to coordinate works effectively.
• Ensure all tools, materials, and work areas are kept safe, clean, and compliant.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years post-apprenticeship experience as a qualified plumber.
• Strong experience in commercial and industrial maintenance plumbing is essential.
• Solid understanding of building services systems, heating systems, and mechanical plant maintenance.
• Competent fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid Safe Pass (essential).
• Good communication and decision-making ability.
